Session Description: As a vacation rental manager—once you decide on your strategy—it’s time to execute. Before we look at pricing tools, let’s look at the pricing and rate-rule tools within your PMS. You’ll also learn from your software provider what integrations they have with data and pricing platforms and how they are looking at revenue management. In this session, property managers will attend their software’s session on pricing tools and integrations. And if you’re looking for new software, this is a good time to look at pricing functionality.
Why: While setting up the classes for DARM Conference, we quickly learned that vacation/short-term rental managers want to take a deeper dive into the pricing mechanisms available in their own PMS. With the user conferences postponed due to COVID, we decided to offer this breakout session to all vacation rental managers, not just conference attendees.
Revenue management is a new frontier for the vacation rental industry, so we hope you find this free educational opportunity helpful in implementing your pricing strategies.
Note: If you would like to sign up for the entire Data and Revenue Management (DARM) Conference, Sep. 15 -17, the cost is $299. While the conference is being held online instead of in-person this year, the whole conference is live. And sessions are being recorded to view later in case you miss anything.
