The Vacation Rental Women’s Summit is back and heading to the Omni Nashville Hotel, December 3 – 5, with a freight train of value and support for the women of the fast-growing short-term rental industry. Carefully curated to provide inspiring keynotes, motivational sessions, supportive networking, and high-level education, this year’s Vacation Rental Women’s Summit — presented by VRM Intel and Track — is shaping up to be the can’t-miss event of the year.
In addition to over 50 sessions and 140 speakers, the 2023 Women’s Summit announced that Cheryl Strayed and Laura Gassner Otting will be headlining. Cheryl Strayed is the best-selling author of Wild and Tiny Beautiful Things. Wild was adapted to the big screen as a chart-topping movie starring Reese Witherspoon, and Tiny Beautiful Things is currently a hit series on Hulu. Laura Gassner Otting is the author of best-selling books Wonderhell and Limitless, and is a frequent contributor to Harvard Business Review, Oprah Daily, the TODAY Show, and Good Morning America.

In addition, Elisabeth Griffith, historian and author of Formidable, will take the main stage along with returning speaker Amber Hurdle, branding strategist and author of Bombshell Business Woman. The conference also offers seven tracks of education including personal development, professional development, marketing, homeowner and guest service, and hands-on workshop discussions.
“I always find it difficult to explain how special this conference is to people who haven’t been,” said VRM Intel founder Amy Hinote. “It really is a judgement-free zone and the most supportive environment I’ve been a part of. The speakers are top-notch and the education is extremely high-level, but it’s more than that. It’s the energy combined with the generosity that defines our industry, plus the encouragement everyone offers each other. I wasn’t in a sorority or on a cheerleading squad, so when we started this conference I sincerely wanted to know if a Women’s Conference would be different. The answer is yes. It is unique, and not because it is all women . . . there are men there. It’s just special.”
Andrew McConnell was one of those men. As former CEO of Rented, current When you have an event with ‘women’ in the title, some take this to mean it is intended to exclude people who do not identify as women. This is definitely not the case. Having attended in the past, I never felt anything but welcomed with open arms (quite literally!), and every man I spoke with at the conference said they felt and experienced the same.”
McConnell continued, “As Amber Hurdle told us at the last edition: ‘different is better than better.’ The Women’s Summit is different in ALL the right ways.”
Events at this year’s Women’s Summit include the opening meet-and-greet reception on Sunday; the Holiday Brunch, Signature High Tea, and Country-Glam Party at the FGL House on Monday; and the Champion’s Breakfast, Stewardship Lunch, Cheese and Chocolate Book Signing, the Pioneer Awards Ceremony, and Closing Party at the Omni on Tuesday.
The 2023 Women’s Summit will inspire attendees and catapult them into 2024 with renewed personal energy, professional focus, leadership skills, new tools, and predictive insight. For more information, go to vrwsummit.com.
